A well-known Kansas City venue, The Beaumont Club, is shutting its doors, numerous reports say. Though the venue owners have yet to release a statement, various news sites have reported the closure of the Beaumont Club: a Kansas City venue in Westport known for its local shows, rock and country concerts and various dance nights.

March 16th and March 17th, Midcoast Takeover will hold a Kansas City showcase at the popular music festival at Austin’s Shangri-La venue (1016 E. 6th St).
Middle of the Map Fest is returning to Kansas City April 5-7, 2012. Last year’s festival was a two-day festival featuring local and international touring acts. This year, the festival is expanding to a third day and promises more exciting local bands and even bigger national touring acts.
