The new trailer for Sofia Coppola’s “The Bling Ring” is out and in it some good girl actresses go bad.
“The Bling Ring” is inspired by true events when a group of teenagers used the Internet to track celebrities in order to rob their homes. The film is out June 14.
Oscar buzz is already surrounding Daniel Day-Lewis’ performance as Abraham Lincoln in “Lincoln.” Now you can get your first glimpse at what the fuss is all about. “Lincoln” hits theaters November 9 (limited) and 16 (worldwide).
After 3 films based on shaky cams, doors closing and startling camera cutaways, the big question with “Paranormal Activity 4″ is if there are any scares left for this fourth film? Things look pretty promising with this new trailer.
From the makers of “Catfish,” “Paranormal Activity 4″ continues the series trend of telling the story of a family’s encounters with a demonic presence through handheld cameras. This time, our demon family has moved in next door and now we’re also getting social: some of the camera recordings will be through video chat.
To earn a screening in your city as soon as possible, you have to participate in a social media campaign and choose to “want it” in your city on “Paranormal’s” Facebook app.
The official trailer for the controversial film “The Paperboy” has been released and while the movie will feature a scene with Nicole Kidman peeing on Zac Efron, that (fortunately) is not in the trailer.
The Lee Daniels’ film is based on Pete Dexter’s 1995 novel about a reporter investigating the wrongful conviction of a sleazy inmate on death row. The reporter is played by Matthew McConaughey and Zac Efron is playing his brother.
The film in theaters this fall. Watch the trailer below:
Generally, video games turned into film adaptations tend not to work that well, but we really enjoyed the first “Silent Hill” movie and have high hopes for the sequel…especially since it stars our beloved Jon Snow…err Kit Harrington. Plus, the trailer for “Silent Hill: Revelation 3D” looks pretty awesome. Check it out below:
“Silent Hill: Revelation” follows the story of Heather Mason, who is drawn into a strange reality that relates to the nightmares she’s had since childhood. It’s in theaters October 26, 2012.
Check out below for a clip of a creeptacular scene from the film featuring some messed up nurses:
David Mitchell’s ambitious novel, “Cloud Atlas” has been adapted for the big screen and the first trailer has just been released. The exquisite teaser runs close to 6 minutes (the film is about three hours).
“Cloud Atlas” is about how individual lives impact one another through the past, future and present. The film stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Susan Sarandon, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess and many more. Perhaps more impressive than the cast is how smoothly it looks like the film’s three directors (The Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer) were able to work together.
The action spy thriller “Bourne” series formerly starring Matt Damon as Jason Bourne is getting a fresh face in the upcoming “The Bourne Legacy.” Take a first look at Jeremy Renner as the new star in this trailer. The film is due out August 3, 2012.
The first official trailer for Rian Johnson’s time traveling action thriller “Looper” has been released and it looks amazing.
In “Looper,” time travel has been invented, but in the future, it is illegal and primarily used by the mob to get rid of targets. The mob sends the people they want killed back in time where a hired gun called a ‘looper’ takes out the target. It’s an easy job and one that has made Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt wearing prosthetics) rich. But then the mob sends back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for him to kill and ‘close the loop’…that’s when things get complicated.
It might be hard to figure out the plot of the indirect “Alien” prequel “Prometheus,” but this trailer is sure to get you excited and send chills down your spine. We’re glad to see Ridley Scott returning us to this world.
After learning the background stories of Captain America, Thor, Hulk and Iron Man, it is time to see Marvel’s superhero powerhouses come together as “The Avengers.” We’ve seen little glimpses in the credits of Marvel movies, but now an official trailer offers a closer look of Joss Whedon’s full-length feature film on “The Avengers.”
Look for “The Avengers” in theaters on May 4, 2012.
