The warm holiday spirit was alive at the Midland for 9.65 the Buzz’s Homegrown for the Holidays event that featured local acts The Beautiful Bodies, Making Movies, and Rev Gusto with semi-local band The Mowglis and their tourmates Royal Teeth.
Influential indie punk band The Replacements reunited for their first show in 22 years at Toronto’s Riot Fest. The band played a 23-song set and is preparing for two more reunion shows at the upcoming Riot Fests in Chicago in Denver.

The Rufus Wainwright show at the Vic Theater in Chicago can probably be described as a religious experience.
