The Vampire Diaries returns October 11 to the CW and a lot of fans are wondering if there will be some sort of loophole to save Elena from becoming a vampire. From this trailer it looks like the characters haven’t given up hope on saving her humanity, although maybe they should. Of course, that’s not the only season 3 cliffhanger that this trailer touches upon; looks like Klaus is having a little fun in his new form too.
