| June 29, 2012 | 0 Comments

The third annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend returned to KC  last weekend, hosted by homegrown celebrities Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis.

The weekend consisted of a Celebrity Wiffle Ball Tournament on Friday, June 23rd at Kauffman stadium before the Royal’s vs. Cardinals game (see photo gallery below), Saturday morning was The Big Slick Celebrity Texas Holdem Poker Tournament at Harrah’s Casino, followed by the Celebrity and VIP party and auction.

Having these big names in town is an exciting time for the area, and the fact that it has turned into a way for the guys to give back to the community they came from gives us all warm and fuzzies! The procedes and fund from all the events making up the weekend all benefit  Children’s Mercy Hospital.

In addition to Riggle, Rudd and Sudeikis  another hometown actor Eric Stonestreet joined in the fun. Several other celebs also made an apperance, some participating in the wiffle ball game themselves such as  Johnny Knoxville, Olivia Wilde and Jake Johnson (just to name a few). The Celebrity Wiffle Ball game also included several local media celebs such as Johnny Dare and Jake the Snake from 98.9 The Rock’s Johny Dare morning show, Tanna Guthrie and Kelley Urich from 99.7 The point, Scott Parks from KMBZ and 101 The Fox’s Slacker.
